An Oxygen Therapy Treatment is a skin recovery program that will promote healing and put your skin on the road to recovery more quickly. The Oxygen Therapy system utilizes the principles of wound healing used in hospitals on burn patients around the world.

Program protocol begins with a sterile cleansing technique designed to cleanse incisions and layered skin to reduce bacteria/infection. This delicate process is performed during the first 24 hours and continues for 5 consecutive days by the medical aesthetician and takes approximately 45 minutes. Pure medical grade oxygen in conjunction with vitamins and minerals is delivered in a safe, micronic delivery system into the cellular level of each patient bringing a cooling and soothing feeling to burned, layered or traumatized tissue. When skin is damaged, the process of healing begins with the activation of enzymes and white blood cells that destroy bacteria. The blood flow to a treated area increases, bringing nutritive substances to the damaged tissue. Oxygen promotes the production of collagen and epithelial cell growth within the treated area. It also causes vaso constriction which can be beneficial in decreasing edema (redness).
